LG Nano80 4K NanoCell (50, 55, 65, 75-inch): This step-down 4K NanoCell model drops the motion rate from 120Hz to 60Hz, with an exception for its 86-inch size (which still features 120Hz). LG Nano90 4K NanoCell (55, 65, 75, 86-inch): We’re no longer in Mini LED / QNED territory, with these 2021 iterations on last year’s NanoCell LCD TVs. LG QNED85 4K TV (65, 75-inch): This step-down QNED model is also 4K, and matches the QNED90 for specs aside from its 60Hz panel. It uses the a7 Gen 4 AI processor rather than the a9 though. Our very busy window unit was restored back to normal and we were able to resume business as usual. He never came back after the Postal Inspection Service went through stock records. The Manager over Station and Branches came and placed our Manager on immediate leave. He took immediate leave for mental stress. She also contacted me later and I filled in the gaps. I was a new Union Rep at the time and advised all window clerks to NOT touch managers stock! I told him to call his superior, a very nice lady, and he finally did. We were out of Clerk Stamp Stock to sell at Window and he told us to help ourselves to his Management Stamp Stock! Of course none of us did. He would leave his stamp stock safe open, I think on purpose, because he was incapable of performing Management Stock Duties. New Manager was unable to perform his duties and had a nervous breakdown. Let us know in the comments below. Also, data on delayed mail and undelivered and partially delivered routes could be used to notify customers of delays and service outages in near real-time. For example, the Postal Service could integrate delivery operations data with Informed Delivery. We did, however, find opportunities for USPS to leverage existing tools and technologies to identify the actual number of undelivered and partially delivered routes. As we note in our recent audit report, one tool estimates potential route and delivery point failures but can’t identify undelivered routes. We recently looked at the Postal Service’s management of undelivered and partially delivered routes and found the agency has tools that identify delayed mail on routes, but the tools don’t identify the number of undelivered and partially delivered routes nationally. Various reasons can be the cause - severe weather, for instance, or unavailability of carriers. On an undelivered route, no homes or businesses receive their regular daily delivery on a partially delivered route, only some customers experience no delivery. Sometimes, however, a route goes undelivered or partially delivered. In fiscal year 2022, total volume of delivered mail was more than 127 billion individual pieces - letters, packages, periodicals, and more. How to Connect a Speaker Selector from your receiver to multiple pairs of speakers All connections are made with speaker cable. You then connect each pair of speakers to the back of the speaker As you can see from the diagram below, you simply connect the speaker output terminals from your receiver (usually Zone 2 or assignable back channels) or amplifier to the speaker selector. Speaker selectors are very straight forward devices. The Niles SSVC-6 speaker selector allows you to connect up to six pairs of speakers and independently control the volume of each pair How Does a Speaker Selector Work?Ī speaker selector sits between your receiver and speakers and splits the audio signal to all the speakers. Most speaker selectors will allow you to connect between two and six sets of speakers. A speaker selector is usually a passive device that uses the amplification power from your receiver or power amplifier to power connected speaker pairs. What is a speaker selector?Ī speaker selector is a device that splits the audio signal coming from your receiver or amplifier and sends that same audio signal to two or more sets of speakers. Yet, how cool would it be to have the audio from your main system playing in other rooms and speakers in your home? With a simple device called a speaker selector, you too can distribute audio to free standing, in-wall, or in-ceiling speakers across your home. Such seemingly complex, multi-room audio setups are often features of high-end homes. There’s nothing more satisfying than having your favorite music available to you throughout your house. The combat is essentially the same from the previous game, but it has been tuned a bit for the better. It's a bit much to take right from the beginning, but it also ensures that less time is used to character stack one by one, so you can get your feeling for each player in this huge novel of a game, and move on with minimal initial hand-holding. Players take control of Roland, a knight in training who quickly learns the hidden power of the Runic Knights through a series of unlikely circumstances, and within the first few minutes of the game players are introduced to a cast of over 20 characters, which only gets bigger as you go along. The story – like any good manga – follows the story of an unlikely hero and his band of buddies. We're not telling you to ignore the original Luminous Arc by any means, but if you're interested in the sequel, you can jump right on in without worrying about being out of the loop. A few characters drop in as a cameo along the way, but other than that you've got a new story, a new cast, new plotlines, and a game that's entirely standalone. Instead, we'll leave it be by saying this game is not a direct sequel to Luminous Arc one, though you will see a larger emphasis on witches – specifically the Frost Witch – this time around. Going into the specifics of the story in Luminous Arc 2 is basically an exercise in futility there's just too much. The interface has undergone a huge overhaul, and the end result is a much more polished, professional looking game. It's a living manga, and more than that it's a typical design for its era (lots of large chested women and baby face cutie-pie magic casters), but it's also one filled with some pretty interesting characters, lots of voice acting to keep things interesting as you go, and some beautiful art both in and out of the core game. Luminous Arc as a series is as much a manga as it is a strategy game, as you'll likely spend a good chunk of your time (unless you're a heartless story-skipper) reading and watching the characters interact as you will actually on the battlefield and grinding out bouts between mages, archers, swordsmen, witches, and monsters. Luminous Arc 2 may feel like it's predecessor, which means it'll in turn feel very similar to the likes of Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2, and Hoshigami Remix, but it also has its own unique style, and one that will practically determine 100% if Atlus's offering is for you or not. "There are, sadly, a few fatalities each year." "That's because motorists and pedestrians and others around these light-rail vehicles become accustomed to them. "As a general rule, there is a decrease (in light-rail accidents) as the systems have been in operation," confirmed Bruce Frame, a Washington, D.C.,-based spokesman for the FTA. In '97 alone, there were 112 fatalities associated with public bus transportation in America. light-rail lines, including just three in '97. Since '90, there have been 81 fatalities on U.S. For the same year, there were 309 accidents and 1.15 fatalities per 100,000 passengers on the nation's public bus systems. They also show, however, that light-rail systems have many fewer accidents and fatalities per passenger than public bus systems.įor 1997, the last complete year for which data are available from the Federal Transit Administration, there were 86 accidents and 0.29 fatalities per 100,000 passengers on the nation's light-rail lines. Packard said he is particularly concerned about the 9800 South crossing near Jordan High School.įederal statistics indicate accidents and fatalities are par for the course on the nation's light-rail transit lines. "What worries me is, in the winter, when most of the time these things will be crossing (roads) in the dark, people will be sliding through the crossing arms." Those (crossing arms) have all got to be in perfect working order all the time. "For over a decade there's been two trains a day on that rail," Packard said. More accidents at TRAX crossings are inevitable, Packard said, because there will be 142 train crossings on the TRAX line each day when the system opens for daily service Dec. "The national safety record for these (light-rail) systems is that for the first two or three years you have a substantially increased accident rate and then it tapers off." "I think there's going to be a somewhat consistent pattern" of TRAX accidents, predicted Michael Packard, a former safety engineer and light-rail opponent who serves as a citizen appointee on the Sandy City Transportation Committee. In any case, the accident is a harbinger of things to come, according to local light-rail opponents. Thacker said police were exploring whether there was a miscommunication between the train's operator and the work crew. This is all part of the testing period that is going on, testing the signals and the overhead wires, and whether they (the crossing arms) were turned off or malfunctioned we just don't know at this time." "I think they need some time to get this worked out and find out what happened and, if it's UTA-related, make sure it doesn't happen again," Alder said of the internal probe. UTA spokeswoman Coralie Alder said the agency was still investigating the accident Wednesday morning and had not yet released a preliminary report. The train was slowing down to stop at that station. accident happened at 150 East, where the railroad crossing arms had been disabled due to some work being done on the Historic Sandy passenger station just north of 9000 South. The 15-mile system is scheduled to debut Dec. Sandy police and the Utah Transit Authority are investigating the accident, the first involving TRAX and a motor vehicle since UTA began full-scale testing of the TRAX line last month. SANDY - Accidents will happen, particularly when light-rail vehicles meet automobile traffic for the first time.Īnd especially when the crossing arms designed to protect motorists from a moving TRAX train fail to work. The challenge of introducing light-rail mass transit to an auto-dependent metro area unfamiliar with the technology was apparent Tuesday when an 18-year-old woman slammed her car into the front side of a northbound TRAX light-rail vehicle at the 9000 South crossing.Īngela Voiles, 18, was in good condition Wednesday morning and was expected to be released from University Hospital later in the day, hospital spokesman John Dwan said. |
